How a usda loan works
The USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Loan helps moderate-income households buy in eligible rural and suburban communities. Eligible areas are wider than most people expect. Parts of Tooele, Eagle Mountain outskirts, Heber Valley and much of southern Utah qualify.
USDA loans have a 1% upfront guarantee fee and a 0.35% annual fee, both lower than FHA. Household income must fall under the county limit, which counts everyone living in the home.
